Cherry Swirl Cupcake Recipe. Cupcake is a modern dessert that Filipino adopted, easy to make, fun to decorate and everyone loves it. This desserts are fast and easy to bake, and has a wide range of flavour to create and to choose from. A mini cakes in paper cups, with frosting and different kinds of toppers.
Cherry Swirl Cupcake Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cake flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. cherry juice
- 1/2 cup fresh milk
- Red food coloring
Cherry Swirl Cupcake Procedure:
- Cream the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and cherry juice in a bowl. Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Add dry ingredients & milk alternately into the butter mixture. Mix with whisk or hand mixer on a low speed until smooth.
- Get 1/3 cup of the batter and add 2 drops of red food coloring and mix well and set aside. Scoop over lined muffin trays with regular batter and drop a teaspoon of red batter mixture and make a swirl effect on each cup using a toothpick.
- Bake in a preheated oven 175C (350F), for about 15-20 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove cupcakes from the tray and place on a cooling rack and let it cool before adding any frosting if using one.
This cupcake is delicious and a great fancy treats for kids party and other occasions.
