How to prepare Mais con Yelo Recipe.

Mais con Yelo Recipe  Filipino’s best summer treat a truly refreshing sweet milky cooler. Another affordable and easy to prepare refreshment. A combination of milk, creamy corn, sugar and crushed ice. The syrup from the creamy corn kernels helps thicken and gives it a more natural corn flavor.

Mais con Yelo Ingredients:

  • ¼cup  Sweetened Condensed
  • ¼cup  Evaporated Filled Milk
  • 2cups  ice cubes
  • ½cup  cream style corn or corn kernels
  • sugar to taste
  • cornflakes for topping
  • vanilla ice cream, (optional)

Mais con Yelo Cooking Instructions:

  • Crush ice cubes in the blender and set aside.  Mix sweetened condensed milk and evaporated filled milk in a bowl. Prepare a couple parfait glass and put 2 tbsp. of cream style corn or corn kernels on the bottom of each glass. Divide crushed ice in half and put in the top of corn. Add the remaining corn kernels with cornflakes on top. Pour over half milk mixture on each glass and add sugar if necessary. Serve with long-handled teaspoons.
